What They'd Notice
Pop Pop Moore
When I took my walk for this project I imagined that I was walking with my Pop Pop Moore who passed away when I was about 15 years old. His birthday is coming up and he always loved photography and taking silly pictures. I decided to take pictures of things that he would point out, what reminded me of him, as well as parts of campus he would enjoy.
Pop Pop would have for sure made a joke about this lone bench by the bus circle and then made one of us sit there for a picture.
Whenever I see a fire hydrant I think of my Pop Pop since he was a fire fighter for over 20 years.
He would have found all the statues around campus hilarious and had us all pose with them like they are real people. He also would have probably made fun of the cat.
He would think it is so cool that we have a pizza food truck on campus and then order from them.
I can almost hear him saying "the hell is this thing supposed to be?"
"Em did you throw that in there? I know you did it."
He would find campus to be beautiful. I know he is looking down on me here studying videography and photogroaphy with great joy.
"The cops are gonna see you screwin' around up here watch out"
When I was walking around it was right towards the end of Golden Hour and all the colors around me were stunning, I am sure he would have appreciated them as well
Knowing my mom and my aunts and uncles, he definitley said "Smile, Damnit!" at least once in his life.
He always tried to get his grandchildren in trouble, I just know that he would try to get me to hit the button and get the police to come.
